Say Hello to Threads Instagram! Let’s compare the newborn Meta Instagram’s Twitter alike social media “threads”. Twitter vs Threads
Facebook Meta Company’s famous young social photo/video sharing network launched their new short text-based news platform threads on the 6th of July 2023. Within the first seven hours, 10 million users signed up for the platform.
And 30 million users signed up within the first 24 hours which made Threads the fastest grown social media on planet Earth and the human history. So threads.net was initially claimed as a Twitter alternative.
Last year the statistics showed that the famous tech giant Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook user count is declining first time in 17 years company’s history. So Facebook’s mother company Meta came up with a new product to secure the market share of the company in competition with other fast-growing platforms like Tiktok.
Also, Twitter was bought by Elon Musk one of the richest men on Planet Earth last year. And Mark Zuckerberg also one of the richest men on Earth, created a new platform and gained success overnight. Before Mark Zuckerberg bought Instagram and Whatsapp from their founders. Also, Elon founded a car company instead of buying one.

So we need to understand that there is no right or wrong way to do things and the way you approach always changes the game.

Twitter has around 450 million users by the reports of 2022 December and it has gained a 40% user count increase compared to 2018. Even though Twitter is a less popular platform compared to other giants like Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok by user count.
