“Do not be afraid” phrase is the most used bible phrase that has 365 times in Bible

“There is one phrase that is mentioned 365 times in the bible. Do you know what it is?” I saw this kind of statement on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. Many people had interacted, commented and reacted kind of differently. Story looked very inspiring and interesting. Also, it gained lots of weight to the Catholic faith in the specific context of average social media user. I guess you have seen this video once at least while you scroll.

According to this statement, the phrase same or similar to “Do not be afraid” is in the bible 365 times that equal to the days of the year. Sounds good right? But even it is possible to happen? Did the publishers make it artificially? It was too good to be truth. That’s how I saw it.

It is literary means Bible says not to be afraid every day. Even though I am a good Catholic, I still did a fact-check. Don’t get mad at me. I wanted see it through to understand whether its truth or false that I can say it when I speak to someone to enhance their acceptance of Christ. But I need more fairly treated information to talk with non-believer. So, this is how this went.

I went to the most famous AI tools including ChatGPT and Google Bard. So, both said those rumours are fake and no way to prove that. Only 180 or some number of times you can find this in the bible. Apparently, they have made a point by just match the word index with the bible itself.

So, I accepted the conclusion at once. This clarification helped me to convince that publishers didn’t make this. There is no made up. If they have done it manually hundreds of years ago. AI will easily pick 365 matches even though they are not in same exact words.

But I thought I should refer to more before coming to a conclusion. Then I searched more for the same topic. Because, I was thinking “what if” the claim was true and the phrase wasn’t specifically in same words that can be tracable. Bible was written by God and the God is the author: that’s the Catholic view over this. So, the God won’t do things as straightforward and raw as publishers do.

Then I found a website that shows up all 365 bible verses that say the same or similar meaning. Most of phrases are too complicated to debunk with a baby AI programme. Its beyond just a copy paste or copy paste with minor changes.

To be honest, I did not read all verses and I randomly checked more than 10-15 to make sure that the website doesn’t bluff.

So, now I am convinced that the bible says “Do not be afraid” at least 365 times or more. But none of those phrase exactly telling a reader or someone that always represent reader’s side or human side. Those 365 times are not contextually giving God’s assurance for us by simply stating it. Different context and situations, the same meaning phrase has been used repeatedly.

So, it more likely can be potraited as a major kind of communication done by God himself to mankind that “mankind should not be afraid as long as they are with God”.
