Shall we listen Their Conversation About the Law of Attraction
Alex: Hey, Sarah, have you ever noticed how, when you try really hard to avoid something, it somehow keeps happening?
Sarah: Oh, absolutely. The more I tell myself not to spill coffee on my white shirt, the more likely I am to do exactly that. Why?
Alex: That’s the Law of Attraction at work. It doesn’t recognize direction, only focus. So, when you think about not spilling coffee, what’s really in your mind? The coffee. The shirt. The spill.
Sarah: Oh wow, so just by thinking about something, even in a negative way, I could be drawing it closer?
Alex: Exactly. Let me give you another example. Say you’re walking past a dog, and you keep repeating to yourself, “I hope this dog doesn’t bite me.” What’s your mind really focused on?
Sarah: The dog and the bite.
Alex: Bingo! The Law of Attraction doesn’t process ‘don’t’ or ‘not.’ It just sees ‘dog’ and ‘bite.’ That’s why people who constantly worry about something often experience exactly what they fear.
Sarah: That’s scary! So, if I want to avoid the dog biting me, what should I do?
Alex: Instead of thinking about the dog or the bite at all, shift your focus entirely. Think about walking peacefully, about how safe and calm you feel, or even about something totally unrelated, like your weekend plans.
Sarah: That sounds simple, but I imagine it’s harder in practice. How do you train your mind to do that?
Alex: It takes discipline. The trick is to wipe out every bit of detail related to what you don’t want. If you keep even a tiny part of it in your thoughts, it lingers in your mental space. The more you entertain it, the more energy you give it.
Sarah: That makes sense. So, if I want to attract success, I shouldn’t focus on ‘not failing’ but instead, purely on succeeding?
Alex: Exactly! Shift your mind to what you want, not what you fear. Instead of “I don’t want to be broke,” think “I am financially abundant.” Instead of “I don’t want to be late,” think “I am always on time.”
Sarah: So, the key is to replace the negative with a strong positive vision?
Alex: Yes, because the Law of Attraction amplifies your dominant thoughts. If you think about struggle, even if you say you don’t want it, you’ll attract struggle. If you think about ease and prosperity, you’ll attract those instead.
Sarah: That’s powerful. I think I need to start being more conscious of what I dwell on.
Alex: That’s the first step—awareness. Then, with practice, you learn to master it. The more you control your mental focus, the more you control your reality.
Sarah: Thanks, Alex! I’ve got a lot to reflect on. Time to shift my mindset!
Alex: That’s the spirit! Welcome to the real power of attraction.
