Every successful person is arrogant and here is why.

Most successful or/talented people are mostly arrogant and rude in many ways. The reason behind it is based on two major factors.

  • Ego
  • Power

Disclaimer: This is not a theory or fact-based article. And this is a speculation. And also this is not to criticize and this article expected to understand and accept the nature of real-world scenarios.

When you develop yourself or anyone else does the same, they eventually develop so solid pattern of behaviours due to two things. And no one can deny the fact that the above two reasons are mixed in the process. Even though both above words are decorated as bad words I am not using them in a bad context.

Ego or Power are not bad things up to some extent besides those are natural human qualities.

Ego

People who achieved something in life or are very successful or have a rare skill or talent are always aware of the value of their personality and the demand commercially or socially. This kind of understanding eventually leads to building an ego in his or her personality to maintain the public image.

Besides that, most of these special people look at things in a very different POV than ordinary people. Most of the time their family, team members, colleagues, business allies or friends may see they are so solid in their decision-making and choices. It’s not their ego and it’s the instinct that their decision-making skill and choices made them who they are today and most of those past scenarios are not the majority’s choices. So, after they have proven themselves the results of their solid approaches, probably they aren’t ready to take opinions from others. So, this scenario can be dressed as Ego or maybe it a something nicer than ego and yet dressed up as ego.

In the third part of talking about the Ego of special people, let me clarify one thing. Decisions, Choices and Things that the masses follow will never lead you to a special outcome. Ideas and choices that are easily available and everyone knows are not going to give you something special. For example a business idea or wealth building plan or a skill that everyone knows or follows is not going to give an extraordinary result. So, following your instinct is a skill that you need to develop yourself without help from others. The moment you ask someone’s opinion on choosing a college, choose a job, choose a business or a wealth-building path, you are losing your battle to fly above clouds. But, if you still need help or guidance from someone, you may seek for it as the extraordinary life is not for everyone. So, this article will help you to understand yourself or understand someone you know. So, I am writing for both sides who find the awkward situation by the behaviour of you or someone you know that I titled in this article.

Power

People’s behaviour be rude or arrogant to maintain the order of power within a situation, an organization or a home. As a person who loves to give freedom to everyone, I strongly disagree with keeping power over others. But unfortunately, the reality is far from it. Most of the people in society won’t choose the noble right thing to do by themselves. So, people who hold power may need some soft power or strong power tactics to keep his or her surroundings in order.

So, when you are trying to be extremely nice, people try to overcome you in most cases. Most successful and talented people who this situation by hundreds of experiences on their journey. When they slowly reach the recognizable level on their journey, they are forced to develop being arrogant and rude as a life skill. And it is becoming a habit over time. As much as the ego, is a key component to developing the certain quality that we discuss in this article.

Hide and Seek

Even though the above things are essential to building a character, it is not necessary to project this in every situation and scenario. Especially in PR-related situations, it is very important to watch your behaviours to avoid unwanted labelling.

There are two kinds of people. Some people cannot hide their behaviours. And some people can easily hide their behaviours in public. That’s why most people categorize successful, iconic and celebrity people into two groups.

  • Arrogant people
  • Non-arrogant people

In reality, there are no two groups. All those kinds of people are arrogant. Some can skillfully hide it where it is not mandatory to show it off. Besides, that arrogant behaviour has two reasons as I explained above. When those two reasons are not applied, the person can be as nice as possible to everyone around.

So now and beyond you can be not fooled by thinking that the key figure is such a nice person and also you won’t complain by saying “what an arrogant man or woman”. Especially if you are a person who works for a key kind of figure and you are fed up with their behaviours and you see a nicer one out there to switch employer, it’s important to think twice with this perspective. “Are they nice as seems from the distance”. Maybe your employer also looks nice to others.

There is a famous saying. “Never have a closer look at your heroes”.
